How to choose a health centre
Distance is a good start, but look at what patients think too. The Vårdbetyg is based on their answers in the National Patient Survey. A higher score a few kilometres away can be worth the trip, especially if you need to see the health centre often.
You can register with any health centre you like in your region, and in almost every region even if you live in another one. It is free and you do not have to give a reason. The guide Changing health centre explains how.

Common questions
Is my position sent to Vårdbetyg?
No. Your browser gives the position to the page, and the distances are worked out in your own browser. The position is never sent to us and is not stored. If you would rather not share it, choose a municipality instead.
How is the distance measured?
As the crow flies, in a straight line from your position to the health centre. The way there by car, bus or on foot can be longer.
Do I have to choose the nearest health centre?
No. You can register with any health centre you like in your region, and in almost every region also with one in another region. It is free and done on 1177.se.
What does the number next to the name mean?
It is the Vårdbetyg, a score from 0 to 100 based on patients’ answers in the National Patient Survey. A dash means the health centre has no Vårdbetyg, for example because too few patients answered.
Why is a health centre missing from the list?
The list only includes health centres with a known position. A few lack one, most of them in Blekinge, Värmland and Gävleborg. The municipality pages list every health centre, including those without a position.
